PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 60 Tournament, 100/200 Blinds (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

Button (t1665)
SB (t3722)
BB (t2324)
UTG (t1778)
Hero (MP1) (t1331)
MP2 (t1530)
CO (t1150)

Hero's M: 4.44

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 2, 2
1 fold, Hero ???

Wiz says it is a big mistake.
But is 22 too wide here?
FWIW all players behind me are tight, Button, SB and CO are good winning regs.

Seems too wide to me. You probably wouldn't push equivalently strong hands that weren't paired.

The thing that I most dislike about 22 is that calling ranges will have quite a lot of pairs in and you're always dominated by them. If you had KJ, at least you are reasonable against 55.
