Why check river? It seems to me he has top pair compos like QT, KT, AT, or suited broadway cards KJhh, KQhh, AKhh, AQhh. Also to throw in the posibility of slowplaying. But I see a hand that beats you raising the turn since you have shown no signs of folding and since theres turn flushdraws (diamond is unlikely though but you never know).

By checking river, it also puts you in an awkward spot. Now you cant decide if he is bluffing you off his missed draw or if he actually has you crushed. You will def know your beat if he raises you on river (say you lead river). I call and just load up another one say Im beat, but these are the kind of hands that make you better in the long run say you lost this hand.
