Hero (BTN): t3590
SB: t1555
BB: t1880

Pre Flop: (t120) Hero is BTN with A K
3 folds, Hero raises to t240, 1 fold, BB calls t160

Flop: (t520) J J 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t240, BB calls t240

Turn: (t1000) J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t3110 all in

Villain is a slightly losing reg, 26/13 183 hands unfiltered, 7/0 over 14 hands at this level. I had a somewhat laggy image because I had been getting good hands lately, so I think he's floating me with a fairly wide range on the flop. I figure he's either got a small PP or a couple overs, and I should have nice FE.

Have I been playing too many MTTs and cash?

Always know this: random villians don't fold boats. Therefore, your all in turn bet is essentially accomplishing 2 things: folding out all hands you beat and getting calls from all hands that beat you. If your oppnt does not have a boat here, you have the best hand - no need to bet. If he does, he's calling you.

check turn, probably call a reasonable bet on the river.

turn shove is pretty bad.

Yeah so I guess I feel I probably have the best hand, and I guess I don't want to be bet off it on the river. The turn shove is effectively 1400, so it may look way more like an overshove than it is, and there is 1/3 of my stack in the pot already, so i don't mind if he folds a worse hand. But I do see how I'm only getting called by ones that beat me. Meh.

Bet 320 on flop, then bet 750 on turn effectively comitting yourself but looking stronger.
As played with 240 flop bet, he has 1400 behind... I think I bet 700 which seems donkaments but looks stronger than jamming all in and he should know he has zero equity as you are snapping off.

i'd cbet 300 and be done if called. pot/stack ratio is not very good to get it in on missed flops.

on flop pot is 500 and villian has 1600. just way too much to continue on turn imo.

now if pot is 700 on flop and villian has 1000 left then i would c-bet and call a push or get them in on turn if called.

If you think that you have the best hand check behind turn and call a reasonnable bet river. That's what I would do at least

woah.

i like it.
really no need for a non-k/a river to be seen.no need for a correct turnbet-bla.
just end it right there, villain doesnt hold a J,if he holds a 9/pp,well,nh sir.

Yeah, tbh, most BBs would just shove over my raise with a PP here, and most just fold any 9 except maybe A9.

Looks like a good reason to let him bluff river
