Hey guys am i getting the odds to call here? the sb is absolutely clueless and could honestly be calling here with ATC. felt like i needed to call so the all-in player didn't get an easy double up... and there was a lot in the pot for only a 900 or so call. these spots always seem weird to me. feel free to comment on flop and turn as well.

Getting great odds on the call preflop here, I like it even with a trash hand. I don't want to bet the flop, it can't be really bad but typically in situations like this you are better off checking down to the river with SB. After turning the nuts betting is fine to get some value from SB given your read that he is bad.

The fact that hes clueless might give me pause to call here. Some idiot might be betting into an empty sidepot with draws or just stone cold bluffs. If you know the guy is a decent reg, and that hes gonna prob check it down if he doesnt hit, then I think it becomes an easier call.

I agree on not betting the flop. You dont want this guy raising with a flush or straight draw and pushing you off your hand. The second 9 on the turn makes it okay to bet i feel.

if u call and lose here its going to cost u ~950 more, plus the SB next hand to post, + antes (depending on what site). Calling and losing here puts yourself in jeopardy of bubbling when folding you have a significantly less chance of bubbling.

Fold here with trash.
