Please provide thought about hand as well as how I am approaching this hand with my ranges/reads/notes. I suspect the ranges I am putting them on my be off the standard somewhat if there is a standard for limping.

What range/percentage are you putting these guys on for all streets and what do you think is the best play going forward? Overall is this how I should be approaching my hands? Thanks in advance.

I think that check call at this spot is fine and see what happen later! Here at this buy in a lot of players flat pre with 10-8/10-9/10k and a lot of suited aces so u should play the hand carefully!!

You have good pot odds in flop but as only 8s are good for you and, can you count them as outs? T8, T9, Flush Draws, QJ... All of the beat you. Fold flop and next hand.

Nit folding pre even though we are getting sweet odds... If they were suited then maybe.

Going into c/c mode OTT/R bet size dependent because of the flush draw.

even so you're getting good odds to call pre , folding would be a better option. Your hand does not play well post and you'll be OOP in a multiway pot and unless you hit two pair or better you should be ready to muck.

Going back to OP , just fold it OTF there's been a bet and 2 callers, any of these limpers can have a hand like 10x for trips.

OTT you have improved yeah , but still i think c/c calling is the best option.

Complete is fine. Flop I'd fold.

Your goal as played on the turn should be to see a cheap river. Check and see what the rest does. If the betting isn't reopend after the BB presumably bets and you get a decent price, call. If you make the straight flush you lead big (possibly allin overbet) and lol at showdown.

I ignored all of your advice in advance and the turn comes:

Turn: (1,360) 8 (4 players)
Hero bets 1,360, BB folds, MP1 calls 1,360, CO raises to 3,300,

Hero ???

I think it's fine to fold pre.

How often does J7o close action, J high flushes just don't do it for me in this type of pot.

Turn is interesting, and I think it could be a check/fold, check call spot.

Possible trainwreck at work.
