Interesting decision point I guess on such a wet board OOP.
Villain: 16/11 6.7% 3b 9% AF 75 hands

Think I can rep strong combo draws so maybe AJ-AQ will stack off?

- I like the flat with AK here

Opting to take this thin value/high variance x/r line comes down to villains image of hero, and what edge you have in the tournament over the rest of the table/field

If this was a tough field, taking this high variance slightly +eV line with AK is great. We need the chips and may not have an edge in mid/late game with shortish stack (u prolly do though...)

- that being said, if we have a squeaky image this line may be a dud vs L337 Pro as our range looks monster draw or AT+ (hero folding AQ?!, hero folding AJ!)

If we are against droolers/average players, there is no need to create the extra variance when they will make much bigger -ev mistakes in late game/other situations.

- that being said, if we have a loose image against these droolers, they may pay off as wide as any A

why is pre bad, vs what seems to be a regular who will prob fold out all dominated aces

I would 3b for sure. Flop is perfect imo.

dont mind pre that much as long as it isnt default, which more than likely is 3bet/get it in. The way it played seems fine and definitely snapping off the shove. Maybe there could be the case for just flatting cbet, but guess more details about images should've been given as well as maybe a dryer board

if both villains are regs flatting pre is fine, but i wouldn`t get the money in on the flop than

Yeah +1 3bet pre, it can look like a steal attempt, people can tool out, you win uncontested and all that good stuff.
