You still need to bet 300ish. It's not a horrid flop, take a stab. Also, if you lower your pf raise you can lower your cbet size. Try 250.

I think that a pf raise has to be 300-350 here, 250 is too low with these blinds.
I would play depending on read, if hes regular and he called us from the CO with 300 I think hes usually holding something. If he has fired some bluffs and always bet when checked to him and played fairly loose I might CRAI or if he is a quite tight regular I would b/f 300. we will still have 12BB if we leave this, dont think we are completly commited.
But if u dont know anything about him and wanna be safe I might just c/f, hes quite stacked so his calling range can be quite wide here, or he even might trap called with a big hand??
I think we really need a read to decide what to do, and ur image is also important I think, if hes a regular and he thinks ur tight and he would only play if he hits or has something good I would probably b/f, as mentioned above this is not a terrible flop, but also not a great flop :/

preflop is good
flop, i would either check it and fold to a bet(most likely) or if if he was just some LAG, I'd bet 375 and hope he folds because i wouldnt fire anymore on the turn.
he has position and has you well covered so he can call your flop bet just to see what you do on the turn.

This looks like a fairly good flop for our 99. Agree with Glitlr on 250 pf

I would probably CRAI, but you should have a read by now that will help you

My read was that he played a lot of marginal hands in bad spots. He wasn't super laggy, but I definately didn't think he needed a strong hand to be playing here.

The result was that I check-raised him all-in, and he flipped over KJ. A king came on the turn, and a 9 came on the river, giving me a full house for the winning hand. I went on to finish first, but wasn't happy with the way I played the hand.

Looking back on it, I was thinking I should maybe be looking to check/fold the flop and commit on the turn, but I don't know. It gives my hands like AQ a possible free card, smaller pairs a chance to gleam where I'm at, and something AJ or JJ a chance to win a bet where I might not have won if I had just bet out. As long as a card higher than a J doesn't come, in which I have to reevaluate.

This was just an uncomfortable spot where I'm not expecting to win money in the long run. I'm just looking for the play that yields the least amount of loss.
