Villain here 26/6/54 after 35 hands, had a feeling he had KK+ so decided just to call and see the flop, this ok or should I be looking to getting it all in pre always with QQ against one opponent?

If you think he has KK, I guess it's better to try to flop a set than fold in this situation. His range here is probably TT+, AQ+ so unless you have a really good reason fo fearing an overpair, you should shove

Don't 3bet if you aren't getting it in.

This is a more likely range than just AA or KK. If you honestly believe he has only aces or kings, why are you calling at all? Set mining after a 4 bet is just not going to have a +EV. What would you have done on a 9 high flop? According to your read you are still way behind with only 2 outs to win.

When the villain 4 bet he put 40% of his stack in pre flop and this means if he decides to c-bet it will be for the rest of his stack. The villain could have shoved JJ or TT given the range above(although I admit its unlikely)

Queens are a premium hand and should be played accordingly, shove preflop and give the villain the difficult decision. Its him who has to put his tourney on the line, not you.

ps this is my first post hope its ok and makes sense? let me know

Disagree, fold (if he can literally only have AA/KK) or shove if he can have AK/JJ.

I tend to think at these stakes players are trapping with AA & KK. I hate the min raise from EP and then the 4/bet.

I really don't think he 4/bets with 10's, maybe JJ but idk.
