Hey guys, been reading these forums for a while...decided to finally register and start improving my game by getting some input

Anyways, wanting to see if I played this hand correctly given the situation...$5 SNG with rebuys until a certain time. We had two tables with 6 people at each, top 3 place in the money...some decent players and some fish in it, I play with these guys weekly

Villain1 and Villian2 have roughly $35 worth of chips with blinds at .25 and .50 (very early, 1 person was knocked out already and bought back in)
I have roughly $50 worth of chips

Villain1 in big blind, hyper-aggressive fish
Villain2 UTG, very solid TAG
Me (Hero) UTG+1

Villain2 raises to $2
Hero: Pocket 5's call
Villain1 calls also
Everyone else folds
(Pot is $6.25)

Flop comes out 4, 5, 6 rainbow
Villain1 bets $1.50
Villain2 raises to $5.75
Hero: I raise to $11.50 (trying to push out any straights...not sure if that was the correct move or not...)
Villain1 folds
Villain2 calls
(Pot is 30.75)

Turn comes out K (different suit from flop so complete rainbow)
Villain2 Checks
I bet $10 (Correct play here or no?)

How it plays out is in the spoiler...

Spoiler:
Villain2 pauses for a while, then folds and shows pocket jacks

Was checking the turn, giving a free river and then value betting if he checked a better play here? Or was my line standard

I'm shoving flop here, the min 3 bet is asking to be flatter by the draws you are looking to avoid. Get the money in on the flop and make them pay full price to hit. Worst case you are up against a flopped straight and have to boat out.

I would just think that'd be a severe overbet and that would push out any possible draws and get no value out of it...my thinking is only person who would call to an all in would someone who has me beat

Is this a cash hand? And use the hand converter.

IMO it looks good for the most part, except slam it in on the turn, don't bet $10. I could also see an argument for getting it on the flop to price out straight draws.

Yeah. Bigger reraise on the flop. Not so worried about draws, but hands like he does have getting scared away, bc there's so many turn cards that look dangerous to hands that will give you action on the flop.
