Played a friendly home game tourney yesterday night with co-workers. One of them was playing it off like he had never played poker before but as the tourney went on I could tell pretty quickly that he had experience but lacked some basic tourney strategies.

As the night went on he used a poker term that instantly led me to believe he knew exactly what he was doing. My problem is that he had the 2nd largest chip stack next to me and he kept pushing me out of all-in hands by lower stacked players...which he ended up losing to. He might have pulled 2BB out of my folds but I had winning hands on at least two occasions while he let the other player triple up. I don't mind folding to somebody who is expressing that they know they've got the winning hand in a knockout situation, but to triple them up when you don't let's them stay in a game where sometimes a chip and a chair is all you need to win. The final time he actually let us check down the river I took the hand and knocked out the 3rd player threat, but there were a couple times he had enough chips to be a potential threat to the player who was pretending to not know how to play.

So now it's the next day at work and I want to approach him and let him know that almost cost him 2nd place but I'm not sure if I should mention it or just keep to myself. I ended up taking down the tourney mainly by letting the two lower stacks duke it out and stealing their blinds. Should I help coach him or leave it be?
