Poker Stars, $5 + $0.50 NL Hold'em Tournament, 50/100 Blinds, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (UTG): 1,225
CO: 1,450
BTN: 1,835
SB: 6,300
BB: 2,690

Pre-Flop: (150) 2 2 dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to 300, CO raises to 1,450 and is All-In, 3 folds, Hero ?

CO is somewhat loose passive. How close is this? What kind of range of hands should I make the call with in general in this spot?

Dont raise this preflop. Fold pf.

I would shove most hands I am going to play with the 12bb stack UTG.

Only option to even remotely consider would be shoving, but that isnt the right option with this low pair obviously.

In general I wouldnt raise this hand in this spot at all I would fold pre.
Now you have to fold. what hands would I call with here TT+ AK AQs I think. But I think its to loose here. I think maby AKs JJ+ is a better calling range.

OP, if that's too difficult to accept start by limping here until you learn to fold.
You could consider shoving here... but it's not totally warm and fuzzy.
Limping will at least give you a sense of how seldom you hit, but it's still a leak.

Fold > Shove > Limp > Raise
