Always confused in these spots, and I think I lose value here. Should I value bet the river? Villain is 18/18/0 over 22 hands...

I would be re-raising preflop. Playing this pot OOP is going to be difficult since there are going to be overcards a decent percentage of the time. You may have to just shove given the stack sizes. But I don't like just calling here.

3b pre preferably but calling isnt horrible i suppose.

when he checks behind turn just donk some small amount on the river and hope he heroes with AQ but u played it fine. if he bet the river, definitely call!
