Pre Flop: (pot: 120) Hero has A A

fold, UTG+1 raises to 160, fold, MP+1 calls 160, fold, Hero raises to 400, fold, fold, fold, UTG+1 calls 240, MP+1 calls 240

Flop: (1,320, 3 players) 2 K T
UTG+1 checks, MP+1 checks, Hero bets 800, UTG+1 raises to 1,840, fold, [color=red]Hero ?
so the villain in this hand likes to call 3 bets with all sorts of rubbish trying to see flops.
not sure what to do on this check raise, do I 4 bet him or call? I think he may be doing this with K x hands but not sure if he'd play anythng stronger like this?
any thoughts?

way ahead of most of his range, KT and TT would be my primary concern of course.

But certainly AK, KQ, KJ, JQ are all in range.

I would go ahead and raise back and be happy to gii here.

I would gii too. you should be winning here more than half the time. sure he may be wild and show a set 2, pair but those 2 combos compared to what you are ahead of here makes this a shove IM0.
your pf raise size is fine as you should want a couple players in as you are ahead pf, but I still may make it 450-500 with MP1 flatting

Flat and keep his range wide. In my experience getting 100+bb's in with 1 pair on a flop this dry is usually not gonna end well.
Villain either has a set or is making a "see where I am at"-raise, ie. he is probably folding to a shove. We have blockers to the only draw, so its not like we have to protect against much.

Preflop we are really deep and villain is raising from early position, so i dont mind raising bigger, the aforementioned 450-500 sounds good.

Everyone always wants to keep V's range wide. I think this is one of the spots where you don't, you actually want to target a specific small segment of his range.

There is too much AJ/AQ semi-bluff gutter garbage in his range that he is raising here because he thinks you're c-betting air. Normally I'm cool for keeping ranges wide but these are hands you are not going to get any more value from once you have called a raise OTF unless they hit and pull ahead in the hand. I'd put JQ in that same category; might call another raise here OTF but if you flat and he misses he's probably not giving you any more value OTT. I don't want these hands getting another cheap card on me here, he's going to have to pay for that draw and if he chooses to fold then great, I'll take it down right here.

However, the AK/KQ part of his range will pay you off here and AK will probably spaz out and give you all his chips.

And if you're trying not to get too much in here OTF with a one pair hand cause TT or KT has you beat...are you suggesting we flat here and fold to a barrel OTT? Cause that's just insanely nitty. So in my mind if he has one of those hands he's getting your chips anyway.

+1 to raise bigger preflop..

i prefer to 4 bet here... there are very few hands that beat us and lot of hands that we beat and can improve on later streets. there are some hands that are behind and that will call you.
