I'm new to DON's so bear with me if this is extremely straight-forward.

I'm in decent shape chip-wise, but with 8 players still left I'm sure I'll end up needing some more chips at some point. Should I be betting here to try to secure my spot ITM, or is this a spot where we check it down with the others to get another elimination? SB winning this pot isn't TOO terrible, he would only have 740 so he's still in bad shape, but it's obviously not something we want to see happen. I also don't want to see MP2 win this pot, because he gets main and side pots if he wins, which gives him new life.

I tried to explain my thought process which led me to shoving as best as I could, forgot to add in though that even if I shove and everyone folds (which is what I wanted to have happen), I get ~300 from the side pot, so I'm profiting slightly even if SB has me beat. I ended up winning the hand and the game ended a few hands later, so I'm not being results oriented, but this was a spot where I think I could've cost myself the game.
