Full Tilt Poker $5 + $0.50 Sit & Go No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t40/t80 Blinds - 4 players
2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked

Hero (SB): t1105
BB: t1330
CO: t3085
BTN: t7980

Pre Flop: Hero is SB with T 9
2 folds, Hero raises to t320, BB raises to t1330 all in, Hero...

Stacks were getting low and figured I could steal. After he shoves, don't think I can fold. Was the steal a bad move in the first place? Should I have waited for a better spot?

Please fold.

EDIT - Either shove or fold p/f imo. You don't have enough of a stack to raise 4BB in a steal attempt.

Shove or raise less, dont let him think he has FE by leaving him room to shove. You dont mind taking a flop here with that hand. Raise to like 2.5x BB or shove... or you can always fold.

What Doublez-Down and brokeandstuck said. Anyone with an M of 10 or so is in a perfect situation to reraise all in. If you're going to raise, either go all in yourself, getting more fold equity, or bet less so you can get away cheaper if he resteals.

in your specific hand, fold

After you raise, you're getting 2:1 on a call, and you are about 2:1 against his range... and are by far the short stack on the bubble. No one is getting into any huge pots til one of you two busts... so you might as well call.

Agree, but the only reason he's getting 2:1 is because he made such a big p/f raise in the first place.

This spot is so read dependent.
If you have no reads on players directly to your left and right by the time you get to the bubble then you are seriously hurting your ROI.
You should at a miniumum be able to say if villian has tenedencies toward LP LAG TW or TAG. With this information you will be able to play very profitably in BVB spots late game.

Agree, I said he should make it 2.5x or push or fold... I like them in this order:

push/2.5x/fold

depends on villain if he is folding a lot to the raise 2.5 > push but the push is good as well
