No read on the V but have seen him limp twice in 15 hands UTG has been active.

Preflop Im ok with though flatting is def a option.

Can you ever fold here given its a $1,10 Tourney and the tendencies for these players to go crazy with some strange hands?

I prefer flatting the first time it gets to you. I guess I am calling now, but not loving it that much.

You should absolutely not call if you don't enjoy being in a 20/80

Most of the time you get 4bet preflop you would be in a situation where you're a small favorite or a huge underdog. You're pot odds don't really justify calling imo. You have to call just over $4k to win a pot of just over $6.5k.

You should flat call here as you have position on villain and you will have some good options on the flop. You could re-raise any C bet or at least float and see what villain does on the turn. If he checks you could take it down.......

Lucky for you he had a smaller pair!

I think he never is a huge underdog. This guy is almost never flatting qq-aa. Slightly absurd to think he is imo. Your 3b sizing is waaaayyyyy too high. No reason to be much over 600 for that. Once he shoves I think easy call. You are flipping or miles ahead almost every time. Calling preflop is fine but I much prefer the 3b to find out where you stand vs initial raiser. You already know you are ahead of flatter before he acts again

Ah - the NY back raise... Wouldn't do it with TT, but it's generally a strong play to counter squeezers (which V may have been suspecting you of doing). The best thing is to have a plan beforehand - if you're intending to 3-bet/fold to a reraise, you're basically turning your strong hand into a bluff and you'd be better off flatting pre imo.
