Sup fellas, been a while since I posted a hand here and had an interesting spot come up last night. We are 4 handed with a shorty and I haven't played with villain before. Have ~150 hands or so on him and he has been running at 39/30/11, cbet 75% in 3bet pots. He's by far loosest out of SB with his 3bets...anyway on to the hand.

My ICM game is not up to par with all the young wizards out there these days and at the time I was quite unsure how ICM aware villain was, he had done some things that lead me to believe he was either a bit unaware or just didnt gaf. If he was aware and trying to ICM **** me then I can adjust and open up a bit pre but I feel like this is a spot I should be very conservative (maybe even flat 100% continuing range?) preflop against someone who might 3b/c 77 or something.

I feel like flop is quite a bit better for me as kq/aq and mid pairs make up a large chunk of my range.

Turn is whatever, good card for him but I need like 20% to continue, it felt like he was setting up a river shove which turned out to be the case.

Final board hits me pretty good with AQ being a large chunk of hands I get to river with and dude is happily emptying the clip.

What's the worst hand you guys call it off with on the river?

    Payouts are:

    12.4k
    9.2k
    6.8k
    4.9k

Be curious to know your stats in those 150hands to vill. I think flatting the 3b pre w your cont range is good w vill cb%, but could have a r/f-r/c {QQ, AKs} ~cib range depending on your image. Even w icm, i think 4b/call is better than 4bshoving slightly wider. As played, prob want 2pr+, not sure if 54cc is in your range by riv, but then A4dd+

I was running at 23/11/2, fold to 3b 33%...i was 3b only 3 times entire ft. First time by this guy.

I don't think i have 45s in my range pre given his 3b sizing. Re cib, with 50bb id be more comfortable going to 10 blinds or whatever and folding but with less than 40eff id need like 35% to call it off. Plus my play style is pretty passive (as if 23/11 didnt give it away) so flatting fits my overall approach a bit better i think.

I'm open to it though and didn't give it much thought ingame.

If you're showing 23/11 to this guy I don't think he jams much on the river, I don't he expects you to be able to make tough lay downs.

I might call KQ and fold AQ. It depends on if you rai 44/88 on turns or 4b them pre.

(This isn't necessarily contradictory... If it is, then disregard.)
