31 left in a 180 man MTT SnG on PS. With the blinds at 125/250 a man with a 25 antes, I look at Q9o and check after the SB, a big stack from Europe, checks.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00+$0.40 Tournament, 125/250 Blinds 25 Ante (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP2 (t1826)
CO (t6540)
Button (t4577)
SB (t8104)
Hero (BB) (t5770)
UTG (t7326)
UTG+1 (t2471)
MP1 (t5408)

Hero's M: 10.03

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, 9
6 folds, SB calls t125, Hero checks

Flop: (t700) 7, Q, 6 (2 players)
SB bets t750

The villian was a eurodonk and I had no reads on him. I was confused by the pot lead, though. It put me in a tough spot. He may have AQ, he may have 8d3d. There's 1500 in there.

I eventually re-shoved, I could of made it 2000, but I'm almost putting in half my stack in with top pair and may not be able to get away after.

Is there any way I just pitch this/maybe minpop and fold to resistance?

That's my initial thinking but the guy comes out and insta-pots it. I know on FTP and other sites with a "pot bet" button (and the slider is avail for PS as well), that is usually a sign of supreme strength.

The funny part is that online tell was acquired from the "wisdom" of all people, Richard Brodie, in the FTP Tournament book. It's saved me a lot of tournament buy-ins and money. I was surprised at how big of a tell it is once I looked back at my HH!
