Hello Twoplustwo,
The following hand is from a 4,40 ft.
I dont have a HUD but villain has been pretty aggro so I saw myself ahead of
his range.
I chose to shove because I felt like r/f would own me hard ICM wise.
Now I am wondering if that was a bit too light given stack sizes , payouts etc.

I used to jam here, but I have been call pre/eval texture of the flop more and more. Villain prob flats hands like Ax that you are behind, and when you both whiff the flop, you have a chance to take the pot away.

If he has AK/AJ or JJ+ then ur crushed, but everything else in his calling range is virtually a flip, and everything else in his range is a fold and an instant win. I know it sucks because he has so many chips, but I don't think he thinks you are ever shoving light vs. him. Unless of course you had a crazy table image.
And RT I think it is a bad choice, wouldn't you ship here vs. unknown chip leader?

Alright thanks for the help.
From your posts it seems both jamming and flatting pre are fine.
But I think I like the latter a bit more since it should reduce variance and there was one huge fish left at the table.
