Pre: The shortest stack at your table is 30BB, and plenty are well over 50BB. With aces, you should be raising WAY more than the minimum. One thing I've noticed about deep-stacked games is that fish are much more willing to spew
Flop: Again, you're betting too small. You have no reason to fear you're behind right now, so get at least 5-6K in there.
Turn: Don't see why you checked there, that was a pretty harmless turn. No one's calling pre with Q8 or J8, and 88 wouldn't have called a flop bet with two overs. Either you're behind QJ/55 (assuming either is capable of slowplaying them on the flop or loose enough to call pre), or you're good. And believe me, their ranges are MUCH wider than those two hands at this point. So either bet straight up, or shove after his bet (it'll be just over pot-sized, but any smaller amount = commitment).
River: Pretty bad card, it just made a lot of hands you beat into hands that beat you. I'd hate to fold, but CO is suddenly coming out of nowhere with his betting, and I wouldn't be surprised if he woke up with like KQ or AT. See, this is why you gotta play aces fast and hard, because by the time they get to turns or rivers, suddenly they don't seem to have as much value, do they? Stupid lucky fish always drawing out
