So just recently switched over to the sit and go world. I got the trial version of ICMizer and barely getting the feel for it.
So this is a 3$ sit and go. I have run the hand through ICM $ EV and
chip EV and at this point in the sit and go I assume we should be worried about chip EV because were still quite aways from the money.
The reason i bring this up is that its has positive expectation for chip EV but negative EV for ICM. Which is more prevalent here.

In any kind of Tournament, which doesnt have a winner-take-it-all structure you want to consider $ev instead of Cev. The bigger, the less important $ev becomes at the start and you can pretty much Cev in the beginning.

But in a SNG, the ICM-factor is already very high in the first hand, imagine you are on BB and SB goes all-in in the first hand. Based on Cev you only need 50% to call, but in $ev you need 56.5%.

Now there are some flaws in the $ev calculation. One would be that short-stacks, such as yours, are overvalued. So while your calculator may consider this a fold, it may still be a shove. I certainly would shove, because the hand is way too sexy.

Interesting, this concept of $EV is new to me so trying to understand this is important. It kind of boggled me that the calculator considered this a fold.
One of the key reasons i think is that i plugged the BB range as calling off pretty wide since BB was major chip leader.

But agreed hand was too sexy so i shoved it in.lol
