Fourth level - starting stacks are 10k, blinds 50/100 no ante.

Table, including myself, have been playing really tight. Villian in this hand is the only active player, raising from position, and a handful of 3bets already, c-betting a high % of the pots he opens, and we both are slightly above starting stack. Villain has won the few showdowns he's been in, and hasn't shown any out of line hand. No players from our table have busted yet.

I limp UTG with 67
folds to villian in hijack, he opens to 225
folds back to me, and I call.

flop:
358

I check
Villian bets 300
I call

turn:
9

I check
Villian checks.

river:
9

I lead out for 550
Villian re-raises to 1300
I re-raise to 2500
Villian tanks for a long time, then shoves for remaining 8k

What's the right play?

Doubt with how wet the board is on the turn that he checks a set or 2p so I would call his shove. But you can't 3b river then fold. I would probably just have called his river raise anyway instead of 3b him.

BTW, was this at Hollywood?

No, as title states, it was at the Southern Indiana WSOP-c event (at Horseshoe).

Gross because of how villain played the turn. Could have 89 or 99 and wanted to c/r or just super slowplay. As played you can't really call because there's no chance that villain is bluffing enough of the time, and less than no chance that it's a value 4bet with worse (A9)

I would not 3bet the river and I would definitely snap fold now

actually i dont mind the 3bet (its a bit thin but as the hand has played out villain rarely has better and since its live he might be awful enough to call with worse) but calling the 4bet is def spew.
