33 Sunday Rebuy - final two tables 33 Sunday Rebuy - final two tables

$14k 1st prize, 12 players remain.

V recently chipped up and had been very agg since getting stack, especially during short handed play.

Given FT approaching he could be applying pressure with a tripple barrel bluff - which V is capable of in this spot.

What is the best approach to this hand?

Should we ever be raising flop for protection/value given the amount of bad runouts there are for our hand vs aggro player?

Is check calling optimal keeping all of his bluffs in vs this type of opponent to induce bluffs by hands with no SD value?

advice much appreciated

Seems close but prob a fold as played w/o more reads. The general approach to keep the pot small is fine. Its very exploitable by him but I just dont see a better line as played. Alternatively raise/f pre and b3b this flop and run gud.

like everything you did up to river and then it gets really tough cus you have a read but i dont know how solid it is. i think BvB w a player whos been aggy and active while shorthanded is super close on this board. my guess is you gain a small amount of chips, less than 3BB, and forfeit a very small bit of $ev. as far as alternate lines i like open to 3.5x/shove pre against super aggro types, aggro villains will often 3b/fold a 7-10bb 3b or theyll call and likely misrange you post, KQ ATs 99 types is how a lot of people read larger SB opens. i dont like b3b flop, the rare all ins he will have too much equity advantage to make up the difference w all the extra raise-folds we get
