The original limper is fairly tight-solid slightly winning player. Button is loose-bad has played 5 of first 15 hands and has a -28% ROI on Sharkscope. How do you play JJ here? Thanks in advance for your input.

I'd play the exact same and snap the shove

I really don't understand MP3's limp.... or what range of hands he is on here. If there are a ton of aggros behind then I smell tarp, other wise, I guess we can raise because he has to fold just about everything to our range.

I'm snapping the aggro also.

I think I'm folding this. If MP3 is decent, he has KK or AA here like every time given his stack size. Plus even donks can show up with a hand every now and then, and I expect to be flipping a lot against BTN donk. I think JJ is a fold here for me.

fairly tight slightly winning player does not imply good . With a 30vpip and 2 other randoms behind why would he limp AA? You can't just say oh he has KK+, don't think you it's fairly likely he is a weak player given his description? I'd call btn with JJ AK fwiw

Small - mid pocket pairs or KQs type hands, which is quite common for break-evenish players.

Telling us (indirectly) his VP$IP is interesting but his PFR is more relevant here and if he's passive it has a big impact on what comes next.

If he's a fairly loose aggro donk, I'll guess his range is:

88+,AK,AQ,AJ,KQs,ATs

Which gives us 55% equity and some odds. It's a call but I'm not excited.

JJ doing 'so bad' against this range almost makes me want to fold.

i don't though.

Yeah, obv AK is better against a tight range than our JJ is, but with those SS stats, villain could definitely be wider. It takes some effort to be a -30% player.

I snap call.

Against a reg this is not a snap call, but in this case its against a fish who can be doing this very wide, so I would snap

I am folding here.

I call the shove on its own, but the reg's limp is obv a monster.

dw, you were somehow like the 4th person to make this mistake.
I did find it amusing how many people were convinced that somebody who had already folded, was going to have KK+ every time and call you.

I thought the same thing, and was starting to doubt my sanity. Read over the HH 4-5 times to make sure I was right.

well, i don't know any solid regs that limp HJ with JJ+, but i know quite a few regs that limp small pairs here, so i'd guess 22-99, and maybe some broadway hands/sooted cards.

i only play turbos, but i assume people play similarly in the early levels of normal speed sngs.
