Should I have played these spots like a regular sng and shoved both?
First spot I feel i have enough fold equity, second spot seems iffy.

You pretty much need to fold both, but you should really be examining the situations that led up to you being short utg at a nearly full table and try to find better spots to steal from earlier position so that you don't end up in this type of spot. You have so little fold equity UTG when you are short stacked that you're better off waiting for the blinds because people have a hard time pushing on your bb knowing you are forced to call light. I'd say anything A7s+, any pair, KTs+, A9+,KJ+ is about as wide as you want to be pushing utg in either of these situations.

I agree with emit, its not good to shove marginal hands through a table of 7 people when you can shove 5-8 bb into the sb and bb with K8 or Q9 five hands before etc

Correct although blinds were high in both situations I don't think its necessary to assume that the OP was short stacked because of bad play.

I think emitnulb was suggesting that there were likely much better spots to be shoving with his short stack prior to this spot not necessarily that OP played poorly to get his short stack.

yeah... I'll pile on here as well. the advice is good in that often we start to focus on a marginal spot that busts us out when really we might be better served to go back and see if we missed some steal spots earlier on that would've boosted our chip stack and given us precious fold equity in future spots.
