I am working on my resteal/3bet from the blinds, and given the limper, min-raise and button flat, should I be 3-betting/fold to a 4-bet from here?!?!? The play up to this point seems weak...

Poker Stars $4.00+$0.40 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t25/t50 Blinds - 9 players

UTG: t6258 M = 83.44
UTG+1: t2500 M = 33.33
UTG+2: t5390 M = 71.87
MP1: t4355 M = 58.07
MP2: t3300 M = 44
CO: t1385 M = 18.47
BTN: t1739 M = 23.19
Hero (SB): t1895 M = 25.27
BB: t1915 M = 25.53

Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is SB with T A
3 folds, MP1 calls t50, 1 fold, CO raises to t100, BTN calls t100, Hero wants to 3-bet, but wonders if this is +cEV?

And how about here? 3-bet/fold to a 4-bet?

Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is BB with 3 3
3 folds, MP2 calls t50, 1 fold, BTN raises to t100, 1 fold, Hero wants to raise here. But is this OK?!?!

And finally...

1 fold, UTG+1 calls t200, 3 folds, BTN calls t200, Hero doesn't like an EP limp from the big stack, but man this feels like shove city with 21 BBs.

The problem is you are OOP for all 3. If villians are loose passive, they will probably flat your raise and be in position against you with a big pot when you have a marginal hand. I like flatting the 1st 2 becuase there are a couple people in and we have some good drawing hands.

On #3 if we know the big stack limper is limping very wide we can shove here. Otherwise i'll probably complete. If your stack was shorter you could probably shove this without much of a read on the big stack.

Thanks LorenB.... Yea hands 1 and 2 are trouble if I raise and villain(s) flat. Guess I would need a read that they are opening light and would fold to a 3bet.

Bump! Maybe I should have titled this "Early game resteal/blind defend opportunities"

Just looking for advice/feedback on situations where my hand in the blinds feels too strong to fold, and flatting just feels wrong.

Like hand #1 here, is this a good spot for a go and go? or is ATs too weak?
Hand #2 feels like a flat to setmine (to LorenB's point), any merits to raising pre?

i flat all of these because its +EV
asuming its a 4.40/180

no need to shove any of these with 15min blind levels. there are way better spots

Definitely call first two, maybe third depending on reads. I don't see the point in raising any of them. Villains won't fold and you arn't likely to hit a solid flop.
