Poker Stars $3.26+$0.24 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t100/t200 Blinds + t25 - 6 players

BB: t3592 M = 7.98
UTG: t4575 M = 10.17
MP: t40 M = 0.09
CO: t1010 M = 2.24
Hero (BTN): t1270 M = 2.82
SB: t4513 M = 10.03

Pre Flop: (t450) Hero is BTN with J

1 fold, MP calls t15 all in, 1 fold

Can I ever fold here?

I agree why fold?
I'd just call and hopefully the blinds have some brains and just check it down

There was guy with 40 chips and he was all-in, so if I fold it would be ez itm most of the time right ?

Or loose to SBorBB but shortie busts too and u still ITM
Or double up vs SB/BB and bust shortie
Or double up vs SB/BB shortie lives and u pawn the bubble

Sounds like a don strategy. But this is fifty, push should be much better than call. We wont the chips in pot and have no interest to see flop and play postflop against blinds.

Yeah, three of the scenarios are good for us, one (bust with just ITM) is not great but it's worth the risk. Thank you for the nice explanation

You gotta put some thought into your hands If we jam he's losing 60%+ of the time, even if he wins WE STILL WIN A LOT OF CHIPS. If one or both of the blinds call us then shorties chance of winning become extremely low and we still have excellent equity vs the call ranges of others and will win that pot ourselves a lot which means we will be itm with a nice stack or on the bubble with a nice stack and a guy who's still suuuper short
