Hey guys, I’ve recently started working at Pacific Poker. Beat? Brag? Variance? Never mind.

Anyhow, one of the first things I’ve managed to get going is a promotion for 2p2ers. Hooray giving back to the community (No Americans though. Sorry).

This is how our little promotion works:

We're giving away a free ticket to the Sunday Deep Stack Challenge tournament (100k GTD, $140 Buy-in) on November 30th for any 2p2er who achieves 300 FPP's during the week.

All you gotta do is post your Pacific Poker screen name in the thread or just PM it to me if you rather.

It really shouldn’t be tough to achieve the 300 FPP’s, if you want to, so it’s just a nice little giveaway. We’ll start counting the FPPs this Sunday.

Question, suggestions and bananas are welcomed. Fire away.

Some techincal details :

We'll begin monitoring the FPP's at 00:01 AM GMT (british time) Sunday and end at 23:59 Wednesday.

For obvious reasons, only users who are registered for 2p2 prior to today are eligible.

Also, regardless of this little promotion experiment, I really hope I can somehow bridge between the poker community and pacific poker. Obviously it's gonna be a lot of work as the site is slightly less than perfect (*cough*), but we'll get there eventually.

Is Pacific open to US players?

If we can't play on Nov 30 can the ticket be used for the next 100k donkament?

As I said in the post, no US players. It sucks, I know.

About using it for another donkament (am I allowed to say donkament now? I gotta check that with my bosses. lol real job), I think i can arrange that, but i'm not 100% sure yet.

Well, could you start by asking them to fix the crashing problem in their software? That'd be cool.

Nope. You still need Hand grabber.

Pummi81, Littlewoods players are eligible (had to annoy people on a friday for that to happen). Again, post or pm your screen name and you're good to go.

Also, obviously solving the crashes and disconnections is the number one priority. I hope most will be fixed when the new version comes out.

Soulman, while I can't answer for Handgrabber, I can assure you one of the first things I'm trying to implement here is a normal and working hand history system. It might take a bit, but it is coming, I assure you.

Why did the buyin of the big weekly tourney drop to $140?

Raise it back to $200 and I might play it once in a while... also, yes the hand history system is very important.

GL to all 2p2ers who got free entry today (basically everyone who registered but two, who didn't play at all. You know who you are).

I'm bumping this to get feedback from anyone who plays the $100k Deep Stack today. Basically any comment regarding the structure, levels, payouts etc is welcomed. Trying to improve stuff without feedbacks is pretty damn hard...

Thanks Yuv. I just went out, way out of the money. Still it was fun distraction from the cash tables.

Rarely play MTT, but nothing negative to report about the tourney. Software was suprisingly stable and responsive (maybe that's just because I was autofolding 95% of the time).

Thanks again for the hard work, looking forward to the new developments, software, announcements etc.

Oh, they just beat me out too. And this was a good reminder of why I never-ever play these things, way too much luck involved. Standard all-in with AQ vs QJ on 7Q7r flop against a donkey familiar from cash tables. Obv he rivered his 3-outer. Well, hope he luckboxes it thru and wins the whole thing so he can return it all back to poker community in form of cash games.

Anyways, thanks for the effort Yuv, really appreciate it. Hope we will see more of these promotions. And other sort of development is always welcome as well (read - stable decent software for all skins of 888 network).
