i raise preflop.
otf villain can call with a worse ace, a flushdraw, maybe a ten, i continue betting on the turn.
as played, why the hell do you raise the river?

I think preflop call is pretty standard... I like the way you played flop and turn but on the river I would bet/fold or check/call

at this point in my game, im reluctant to get in a hand with A9o on SB, but..
bet more (at least pot) on flop
-you are probably winning hand at this point
-you get a better read on their hand if you bet more
-from their perspective, 40 is an easy call most of the time, whether they have correct chasing odds, or they're just stealing pot with position.
-proof: you had to check turn, because you have no idea where you are in the hand.

What do you put villain on?
If hero would have bet 60 on flop and villain would have called, how would that make it easier?

Turn is good for his draws, why give him option to check back when we have best hand a tonnn of the time?
