Villain is one of the best regs at this level imo. Big history together, i know he makes tight folds vs me. He opens a touch wide imo but won't 4 bet me light. I'm raising with the intention of folding to a 4 bet.
My question is whether or not this is the most +ev line? I can see getting into tough spots if i flat, and i don't think he's getting it in with much worse if i do flat. Thoughs?

This way you get more information about his hand before the flop. If he 4bets you, you know that hes strong and can fold.

If you just flat you dont know where you stand on the flop.

Against a good reg i think calling is better.

why bet 380? he either has KK AA or he doesn't... i riase less if i'm raising, but i just flat this all day
