I was just moved to the table. All 3 hands occur vs. the same Villain within the same orbit. Before the first hand I'm 5th in chips -- when the last starts I'm somewhat above average, somewhere around 90 players left.

Basically, Villain probably views me as over-aggro and spewy. Does this make me more or less inclined to call the last hand?

#1 Hands 1 is a spew. Careful steeling from shorties with crap.

#2 Hand 2 is a bigger spew. KJ is NOT a good hand, fold that **** to pressure.

#3 Hand 3 is a call. 99 is near the top of your range and if villain thinks you will call with KJ and crap he is probably shoving pretty wide.

Call only because villian is raising you pretty light from your previous spewtarding.

Hand 1: He had 5BB and there were antes. I mean, I would shove K4s here if not for SB.

Hand 2: Look at the pot-odds. I can either fold first in (which seems too tight) or I can raise/call, but raise/folding sucks, IMO.

Hand 3: But the shove is 25BB, meaning it gives me much worse pot odds than in the previous cases.

First two are fine obv.

Second one I'm not fist-pumping but it's a clear call for me.

But your not the SB (I would shove this also from the SB). This wasn't as bad as the next hand, but this is a REALLY easy way to lose chips. EDIT: Note that K4s is only 54.9% vs a random hand.

Rough estimate, is you need to call 8000 to win 12000 (2-3 odds), which means you need 40% equity. Against the top 10.3% of hands you only have 35.25% equity. Against a SUPER agro restealing range of 22+,A2s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,A6o+,KTo+,QJo you have 42% equity, which makes it a very borderline call. Pot odds made you call hand #1, but this is a FOOOOOOOOOLLLLDDDDD.

Rough estimate again you are risking 18k to win 23 k, so you need 44-45% equity. Against a tight range give the history here of 88+,ATs+,KTs+,QJs,AJo+ you have 46% equity (throw in a couple lower pocket pairs and any worse Aces and your equity is going WAY up). SO this is a call, 99 is a much, much stronger hand than KJo

all 3 are standard as long as you snapcall with 99 (the KJ hand im too lazy to open pokerstove but it looks like a call to me)

RandomGuy --

Hand 1: You're neglecting to account for the times I just steal the blinds.

Hand 2: By my calculation (I need to call 7688 and the final pot is 21296), I only need 36% equity to call profitably.

Hand 3: I totally agree -- just wasn't sure if he'd tighten up his shoving range because he's seen me call with relatively weak hands so far.

first two hands are perfectly fine with your stack in that position. Have to call with 99 in hand 3 imo, in most cases even without image.
