So far for me.

12-20, Horny as hell

21-24 Still horny as hell but not the same as 12-20 It's at the point where I could have sex everyday, but, it takes some minor mind game pre-game by myself.

I'm curious when the bigger dips happen or have happened to others. Also how has it affected you? If you lost the sexual drive, do you miss it?

New topic started.

Boom headshot!
For me there wasn't much dropoff until my 30s. And honestly it was kind of a welcome relief not to be completely ruled by my penis anymore.

30s to 40s was probably some more dropoff but still in the healthy range imo.

The weird thing is I have fairly low testosterone - 350 or so. But I'm pretty sure I still have above average sex drive and I know I did in my teens and 20s. I think there must be some other component to it.

I used to work for a statistical consulting firm where we ran linear regressions all day long. If you have some specific questions feel free to post or shoot them to me and I will do my best. I can always ping my cousin who has an advanced degree in statistics and works for the same company.

Going to rapidly change topic to something that's actually more appealing to me.

Anyone got some good book reads suggestions? I'm into Fantasy/Mystery/Sci-Fi/Informative, etc..

I'm getting bored with some movies as of late, well, waiting for some good ones to come out, so going to consume books for a while.

All I apparently read is fantasy for the last few years. So I am distinctly unqualified to comment on anything else. Would just listing off random books be helpful or is there something specific that seems appealing to you?

E.g. That Harry Potter joint was dope, why did it have to end so soon? How can I find something like that???

Or: Man, I really like it when the dragons do the dragon-like stuff, how do I read more about the things dragons might do if they existed but who knows?

Or: You know, I like it when there is blood everywhere dripping from every page. Like when I was in 'Nam. Where can I find a fantasy book like that?

Oh, also one more thing that randomly popped up on Facebook that seems a bit too coincidentally topical. Somehow Lacky's daughter is real, actually has some non zero amount of interest in poker this far past Black Friday, and is cute. I am not sure how he ever decided to tell her about 2p2. That just seems like a big dad leak. What's going to happen next, Microbet's daughter is gonna show up on here running statistical analysis on sports betting while talking about slamming drugs for all night video game sessions?!?

I actually have no idea how old Micro's kids are, maybe they are younger than Lacky's and not gambling legally yet. I just assumed you guys all had kids the exact same age, b/c, you know, I grouped you into the same "older than me" category. Now I'm probably older than you were and have zero kids yet. But I'm sure when I do I will not have 2p2 at the top of the "introduce my daughter to" list.

Other than that, my aunt every time I would go to my cousins over the summer or holidays she would try to get me to go to their catholic church. I would every once in a while to appease her, but, it was lame as hell.

I think church and religion is cool for some, but, everyone find their own ways. Don't preach ya stuff to me.

Religion was being joked about by xPeru and defended. GtrHtr was saying it was a little bonesy because of the defense of religion, but maybe a bit also because of conflict with xPeru.

I was suggesting it wasn't very bonesy because I didn't think serious threats of infractions and bans were much like you.

I'm pretty sure I have two kids older than micro's, and two kids younger, all daughters. The older two had their teen years while I played poker for a living in the basement. they noticed. they lived through the swings, reaped the good times, suffered the bad. saw pictures, heard stories. hard to think 2+2 wouldn't come up. hell, they were even aim buddies with a few 2+2ers that used to hang out in these parts.

they have both read ship it holla ballas and know the parts I was around for. Erin sat next to me for several of my final tables, hoping, hoping that big mall trip was coming. good times.

My daughters are 12 and 14. Back in the day, er night, I'd be playing and if the younger kid, then a baby, started to cry, I'd be playing poker online while holding the baby.

My oldest used to occasionally AIM with AMT. He would jokingly call me bad Jay and my daughter would refer to him as the bad Jay guy.

Oh. I stopped giving my "anti-antisemitism/islam is banworthy but anti-Christianity is lols" rants a couple years ago for a variety of reasons. Either way, thought vikesfans quasi-physical threats vs. Max were ridiculous and embarrassing.

Lacky - Ahh, well you can tell them I get a mention in that book. So I have been super famous since then.

Micro - Lol regarding AMT. Maybe daughters knowing about 2p2 is fine if they don't wander into OOT.

Doch - Ok, you are going to get a long potential list then (all are series btw), :

Broken Empire (first book Prince of Thorns) — gritty/bloody, quite badass main character
A Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones) — amazing characterization, complex/great plot
The Stormlight Archive (The Way of Kings) — great characterization, great plot (only 2 books out of what may be a very lengthy series)
Dresden Files — Contemporary/urban bestselling fantasy. Interesting main character, good entertainment
Malazan Books of the Fallen (Gardens of the moon) — epic scope/epic complexity. 10 books in the series and some are over 1k words.
Night Angel — great characterization, fun plot. 1st 2 books amazing, 3rd kinda sucks
The Kingkiller Chronicle (The Name of the Wind) — great main character, interesting plot
Gentleman Bastards (The Lies of Locke Lamora) — great main character, very cool plots, fun storylines
The Prince of Nothing — gritty. v ambitious main character. 1st trilogy stronger than the second (in progress)
Temeraire (His Majesty's Dragon) — dragons. all centered around dragons
Demon Cycle (The Warded Man) — really badass main character. most recent book (3 of 4) weakest
Farseer Trilogy — really 3 trilogies. 2nd trilogy the best imo. All good. Good characterization, interesting plot

Just finished:
Thinking Strategically: The Competitive Edge in Business, Politics, and Everyday Life. By Dixit and Nalebuff

Very imformative on applied game theory in all sorts of areas.

That sounds like an awful fantasy novel.

That it is.
