Arguments for and against really

Arguments for - chances are its a race - I am pretty sure he is going to call your shove with his stack and there will be a decent amount in the pot with his raise and the blinds.

KQ could well be the best hand you will see for the rest of the SNG with the blinds and your stack.

You need the double up

Arguments against - It looks like he wants you to shove and could well have a monster looking to snap you off

Although there is fold equity, chances are he will still call and you are going to be racing for a double up not even guaranteeing a cash

It is still just K high

---

It depends how often he has been opening the pot like that and if he has been bullying the table, if he has been raising like that for quite a few of the hands at the bubble then I think you have to shove as you are far more likely to be ahead of his range, if not having him dominated.

If he has only done it a couple of times, it might be better to fold and wait to shove on the next hand into the next shortest stack who is coming into the BB - that is the race you really want to take, if you win vs the other small stack, he will be micro and you will get your double up making it much more likely you will cash, racing against this guy with the KQ even if you win you are not guaranteed to cash.

I think I would lean more towards folding this hand and looking to be the first one into the pot shoving all in, I think I would rather be the first in shoving with 98 than trying to get fold equity with KQ when I dont really think you have any.

I am sure there will be counter points and arguments really can be found for both decisions.

Maybe! just maybe!! you might have enough to even try a stop and go? - Doubtful but I would prefer a stop and go vs a re-shove preflop I think

Stop and go or fold
