2 Spots from the $560 Main Event of the Kickoff Classic at Caesars. Attracted about 280 with first around 28K. Event has mixture of players; alot of Vegas locals, some tourists, and a few good tourney grinders.
hand 1-
Blinds are 1/2K a200. Older guy accidently throughs out 800 than announces a raise. He obviously meant to raise and is visibly shaken when told he can now just call. Villain in MP wearing a Poker VT hat flats with about 150K. Hero is in BB and checks with K6hh.
Flop- Qh, 9h, 4s
Hero checks, older guy bets 5K, villain raises to 14K. While I am thinking older guy mucks out of turn. I started hand with about 45K. Thoughts? I don't expect villain to fold anything in this spot.
Hand 2-
Villain is a good youngish tourney player who through conversation seems to have had some good results though I do not know his name. Had played a hand earlier with villain where Hero checked back top set, called villain check raise on turn, and called villain shove on river (villain insta mucked)
Hero- 55K
Villain- 80K
Blinds 1/2K a200
Hero opens from EP to 4500 with AQo, Villain flats out of SB.
Flop- K, 5, 4 rainbow
sb checks, hero leads 6K, villain calls
Turn- 10s (I think putting two spades on the board
sb leads for 8K into pot of about 25K, hero?
