Full Tilt Poker, $2 + $0.25 NL Hold'em Sit n' Go, 100/200 Blinds, 4 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (BTN): 1,340
SB: 865
BB: 640
UTG: 6,155

Pre-Flop: (300) Q Q dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG calls 200, Hero raises to 1,340 and is All-In

SB was fairly solid, played last game with him. UTG was limping into every pot and taking stabs to take them down. He built his stack by sucking out on some donk calls. I adjusted his range in SNG Wiz (default said push), and it changed from QQ to KK at 34%, so I'm thinking it was a close one.

Still trying to figure this ICM stuff out. Is this a bad shove with 2 shorter stacks?

I think you're doing something wrong. I couldn't get a fold out of it even if I had him calling 7%, which he obviously isn't. This doesn't strike me as anything even close to close.

Quite possibly doing something wrong. At least I made the right play then. But don't I want to widen his calling range to see how wide he's calling? Default was like 33%. I changed it to 35% and that made it a fold (push with KK+). Obviously decreasing his range should open up my pushing requirements a bit right? Or am I thinking about it backwards?

It's not the bubble, we have 7BB, QQ, some FE and some dead money.
How could it be a fold ?!!

I am shoving here. Take a shot, play for the win. It seems very standard shove. gl

While not "technically" the bubble yet, it is essentially. Three very short stacks and one much larger stack. I guess I'm overthinking it and just making sure I made the right play. I hate going out on or near the bubble when there are shorter stacks than mine.

One of the very important things to notice about 6-max is that you can can shove so much wider 4-handed than 3-handed.

Also, I can't coax anything but a shove out of SNG Whiz.

Dude, I ran it in Wiz and it was a shove at 35%. I tried a lot of combos: limping wide/calling narrow, limping wide/calling wide, limping narrow/calling narrow, and all were shoves. He had to be insanely tight to make it a fold. Are you using the sixhanded structure? You can use the Stars one if there isn't an FTP one, because the payouts are the same, right, and 100/200 is the same?

In some countries you lose both hands and your best goat for folding this

If wiz gave you incorrect results maybe you selected the wrong structure.

I normally argue, this time I'd even shoot my self if i even considered folding. The other two are short but then the difference between you and them 2 are small. With 6.5 BB you need to double, forget the other players. You can't rely on both to bust to the large stack and even then that's with the mentality of playing for 2nd only. Play for the win.

Well I can't say I didn't "consider" folding, but I shoved. UTG called and showed J9 and rivered a straight.
