We're starting to hit the money now. Five people still in two tourneys, and Jersey is a big favorite to win Tier 2, but anything can still happen.

Tier 2 update:
Jersey is out with 28 points. Wired is the only Tier 2 player still competing and is 5/18 in tourney C. If he makes top 8, he takes down the $80, otherwise it's Jersey's.

Either I've gotten better at poker or people have become dumber, because all of the sudden, the Steps tourneys seem to be delicious cake. Small sample size FTW, of course.

12:30am update posted. Still many people who can win money.

12:40: Qaz is the only person left in two tourneys, and he's got the point lead. Killing and Wez are close behind, four others are still in contention.

Good news: 3 challengers at Final Table C. Bad news: They're 6, 7, and 9 right now. 1:05am update posted.

1:09am: 8 left at Final Table C. WiredRounder clinches Tier 2.

1:20am: 5 players still in contention:
At final table B, Flotastic is 2/6, but has been disconnected for a while. She(?)'s at a minimum of 36 points.
At final table C, killingbird is 4/6, with a minimum of 46 points.
In tournament D, there are still 10 left. Reckless/Punahou (min 22 pts) is 5th, qazikm2000 (min 45 pts) is 9th, and wezvidz (min 34 pts) is 10th.

1:25am: Wezvidz busts out. Four still alive, though Reckless needs a minimum of 3rd to cash in the challenge.

And it's the endgame. Flotastic is the only one still playing.
Killingbird finished at 59, qazikm2000 finished at 53.
If Flotastic finishes 3rd-5th, he doesn't catch up.
If Flo is 2nd, he's 2nd; if he's 1st, he wins.
And BTW, Flo is 2/5 right now.

1:54am: Flo is the short stack with 3 left.

Sorry, thought you might be named "Flo". Then again, one of my roomies is Flo, short for Florian, and is a guy, so... no i was not trying to hit on you

2:09am: Flo gets it in with AQ on a KT2 board vs KJ. His opponent rivers two pair. You do the math. Flo is now big stack, still 3 left.

2:14am: Heads-up. Sorry qaz, hope to see you back here in two weeks.

2:20am: Flotastic comes up short, finishing at 54 points, just ahead of qazikm2000's 53 points, but behind killingbird who wins the week with 59 points. Killingbird gets $112.50, and Flotastic gets $37.50. Those moneys are on their way.
