i was just thinking to myself that this player is the one player i should try to avoid,.. so is there really any value in shoving here or is folding a must considering im the chipleader with 17players remaining and the payouts are the same til final table....

Def not folding.

Your OOP, so I don't like calling. I would shove, theres almost 6k in pot, and he can only call with AK at worst, and your only scared of QQ-AA and AK.

Hes a big stack, never have to put him on a big hand unless his stats are sickly tight.

Shoving is the play IMO and you can't think of who you want to avoid unless your making ICM shoves, etc, your putting him to decision, this is is good sport to pick up 6k in chips a good amount of the time.

yeah that was my automatic thought and i am already in the money, but its the minimum payout, ive easily already got a final table chip stack but this is a turbo and the blinds go up quick so i like to keep building my stack to win it... but on second thought playing a big pot with this guy can really cripple me... as far as reads go im 6tabling without pokertracker or anything... would suggest maybe a small reraise and if he shuvs fold... or if he calls see what comes on the flop.. and i dont like to flat call hu oop... but if i did just flat than either chk raise or chk fold flop... does anybody think just folding preflop is profitable.. given the circumstances of a comfortable stack and the near final table bubble... being the chip leader and the villain is 2nd in chips
