[converted_hand][hand_history]Poker Stars, $13.70 Buy-in (50/100 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
BB: 1,370 (13.7 bb)
MP: 3,445 (34.5 bb)
CO: 595 (6 bb)
Hero (BTN): 3,975 (39.8 bb)
SB: 4,115 (41.2 bb)

hey!

infos for you about the situation

i was pretty active with my stack and
my thought was villain might take a stand because he dont want to be pushed around.
villain runs 18/7/14 600 h 9-7 and 30/16/34 6-5
looking at this according to bubble-factor i think, i could(have to) play this differently. what do you think about river. we already have a huge stack and comparing the additional chips to busting in the tournament sounds not like a good deal looking at the stack dynamic.

thx dan

Preflop: Hero is BTN with J 8
2 folds, Hero raises to 210, SB calls 160, BB folds

Flop: (520) 7 T 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 250, SB raises to 500, Hero calls 250

Turn: (1,520) 2 (2 players)
SB bets 400, Hero raises to 1,050, SB calls 650

River: (3,620) T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 2,215 and is all-in, SB calls 2,215

I'm getting this in on the flop, to many turns to kill your action if he has 2pr or set, 3bet flop to ~1200 and obv call shove

3 bet the flop 100% of the time.. He's not chk/raising air, and unless you have a note he folds to 3 bet after check raising flops all the time, It seems easy to get it in.. and given the turn brick, dumping it there is gonna be profitable aswell.. There is no reason to have chips in front of you come the river.

Flop depends on our meta imo, I think raise and call are both good depending how you would play other hands.

River is must shove because of his most likely hands imo. Maybe I would consider river chec if you think he fold turn with Tx hands and not often trap AA-QQ preflop.

always raise the flop, seems pretty bad to flat. guy is obviously fairly comfortable with the board given minraise so sizeable but not big raise seems in order

definitely jam river, it seems a bit absurd but id check it some %

+1 on reraising flop. There are plenty of times to float but this doesn't look a cr bluff with this type of flop.

Also, what is the last figure in the stats? Can't be 3b!?

seems weird but i dont see that many hands that are worse than our and call our rivershove.
i shoved river because he checked it.
going over my set afterwards i thought how important are the additional 2000 chips, they are not so much worth $ ev- wise and with a check i have already a stack to bully the table with this stack dynamic.
plus with a check i can save my tournament live with a good stack what is most important.
as said, i think not a great chance a worse hand is calling us but seems i stand pretty much alone with my opinion
