so my question is: how to play river (or nay other street if you would like to leave a comment) - bet/call or check/call, or even check/fold to a shove?

What is the best way to extract value and not loos to many?

    Best regards and good luck,
    lamb.

well he has more straight combos than boat combos even tho we have blockers on lots of his straight combos.

b/f would just be soooooo miserable.
c/f is weak tight. b/c isnt the greatest thing on the world but just cking misses out on value. he can still have over pairs too. so b/c like ~388 imo.

meh bet small or c/c either way is fine by me

I would bet 90 on the flop =p and less on the turn. I think you are forcing him to fold too many holdings

I bet for value here ...usually we have the best hand. It's hard to believe ( board texture, and the BB passivity on the turn) that the opponent may have full here. So, i bet 1/2 pot and call a shove.

Do you ever expect to be ahead when he shoves with no FE?

    So, maybe?

I like min/limp pre, bet more flop, less turn, c/c river. But i dont think your line is wrong.
As played i go broke every time, ugly ass river and awkward stacksizes.

    b/f

i think this is worth value betting. villain often shows up with trips or an 8 for a chop. bet 300, if he raises, then you are probably beat.

Depends on your sizing ofc. If you bet somewhat low in order to make him spazz out, call a bit lighter, etc. he should have some FE.

Vs. shove after let's say ½pot: we are ahead some times - random villain will ship trips from time to time. Hell, even overpairs or AK/AQ once in a while.. This will not happen often but occationally. So yeah, we are for sure not happy if he shoves but I think he'd check behind more often than not if we don't v-bet thus missing value. We split from time to time too.

The three moves I'd every use in this spot would be: b/c, c/c or shove.
I just think shove looks a bit too scary for a presumed donk (villain) and will make him fold out most parts of his beatable range. Which leaves me with b/c or c/c.

For most regs it's prolly close between c/c or betting and c/c is deffo not bad but that's just not my style of play.

Edit: but guess I should mix it up a bit

c/c and give busted FD's and trip T's a chance to bet at it.

Thx ppl for your feedback and contribution.
This hand is one of those where you did something and was not happy about the result . It seems that this is basic bet/bet/bet-call hand, but I think that it is better to check/call river here, some ppl bet really small with monster so we can end up with good stack to continue tournament in case we get unlucky. Maybe it we will lose some value by checking but it is better to save your place in a game than chase like 200 chips. But in case of check/shove it will be so lame...
