first instinct was c/f, but then i realized there's so much in the ****ing pot, i think it's actually pretty close

even if we get it in drawing really slim/dead as much as half the time, if 25% of the time we shove and take it down, and 25% of the time we shove, get called, and are in a race vs. some sort of draw, it's significantly +chipEV

i do know it's a super easy shove with the T of spades. i think i may have actually convinced myself a shove here is good too? you're obviously facing an overpair very, very rarely. definitely closer than i first thought

I think I shove... and pray
The pot is big and you might just have enough FE, if the A isn't out.

I think this is check-fold. Flipping or way behind.

Yeah but there is like 3500 or something in the pot and ur still going to take this down a decent amount of the time.

Obvs u can't b/f so i'd push.

Clearly the choice is P/(C/F), the only reason I'm more inclined to c/f is that I don't feel we are going to have any FE to the As, 8s,4s, if the board wasn't a straight I'd wouldn't mind a shove here. Don't think either is horrible, but I c/f.

Keep in mind this is a TURBO 180. I'm gettin it in here. In a standard 180 I lean towards a c/f, but not in this structure.

You want to shove 17-18ish BBs pf with TT?

in a 12/180 I'm not folding an over pair 3 way... Not even on a board as bad and coordinated as this...

absolutely. we have an "openshove stack" like we would have ~11-12BB as the antes r in (bond18 called it "true BB" in one of his article). esp w/ TT in EP im happy to get it in and dont have to play post flop OOP w/ likely at least 1 over w/ this size of stack.

i usually check and see what happens here. if it goes bet-shove-shove or whatever, you can fold. if its one bet to you, you probably have to get it in. in an ideal world though, the flop checks around, the turn bricks, and you can ship it in and get snapped off by some dumb hand.

Yeah, I shoved. Figured I don't mind getting it in vs a draw to triple up and structure of these things means it's better to chip up when you can.. still think it's pretty close though.

Spoiler:

MP1 called with AsKx
BB called with 77 and held

obv well played by all pre.
