If villain is calling our shoves tight, then he's probably calling our raises tight as well. This gives us room to fold when he raises on us.
If villain is calling our shoves loose then we don't want to shove on him with 99 for fear that he'll call us with overs. Its not a place I want to leave up to chance (even when we are ahead 70/30ish). We just have too much equity in this game to take those odds imo. Its better to raise vs a loose villain as well because its likely hugely +EV when he calls us. We'll have to let it go if he raises (depending on the size of his raise obv, but generally speaking well have to let it go), but this is better than risking all of our chips when he calls us with KJ or some ****)
