I think i fold in this spot if i have no reads on the opponent!
usually this a move that a big fish does when he hits two pairs or a set because he wants to protect his hand on a wet flop! it would be suicide to shove here with top pair or a straight draw so most of the time he has a better hand than yours!

okok, i will reformulate my question, could i find a fold after his 3bet on the flop?

Call flop and reevaluate turn.

His bet smells of a Ten, but still probably just calling and re-evaluate turn

Yeah. Call OTF and see a turn. Raising flop isn't good.

So you thiink that standard play here is to call flop? with what range do you expect him to do this?(he could be wider after SBs all in) shouldnt i extract value from one pair hands+ draws and set the stack to shove turn?

there are some arguments for raising, but think i prefer calling flop too

also, assuming you're the same player who was at $4 2R 1AO final table with me last night congrats on the run (and win I assume given your stack size when i busted )
