yeah jeff i'm glad there's an escrow who i know because he's sketchy as ****.

we had an email exchange yesterday. right now it's my $900 to his $600. he was asking for buyout prices, and i told him i'd let him buyout for $500.

him: "wait, i don't think we're on the same page. you will let me keep $500 of the $600?"

me: "uhhh no, i thought letting you keep $100 was generous...it's cool though i'll just leave my bet in. gl"

him: "ok, i was thinking like 15% was good considering i'm a lock to complete if i keep going for it."

me: "no offense, but lol. you're 14 days in and have made $1100. you're way behind, what makes you think you're a lock to complete?"

him: "will you let me buy out for 45%?"

me: "ok f u, you're gonna try to play me like a ****** and try to get your bet money back? i'm definitely not offering you any buyout at all anymore."

mkgringo: if the bet isn't going the way you thought it would you suck it up you don't try to scam people.

WTF? Lock to complete this if he keeps going for it? If that were the case, he would have been a mortal lock before the 31 days even started.

the website was up until yesterday sometime, prolly around the time he offered buy outs. I took the buy out as I was in a generous christmas mood, and it wasn't a large amount of $ anyway. 9k in 2 weeks is probably impossible unless he catches a sick sick heater. GL runhot.

aw man sounds like its over. I figured it would still be worth it to play until said date so he can recoup losses and then bless us with details stats and such. oh well. keep ya head up runhot. its just money.

Well my bet is still in, my $750 to win his $500, and I didn't accept a buyout. It would be nice if he kept the site up to keep us all updated on the progress.

Also agree that some of this sounds sketchy and am glad that there is an escrow with amt.

I'm surprised people accepted buyouts. Obviously once he starts asking about buyouts he's prepared to pack it in.

My buy out cost me prolly $35 in ev.. but I wanted the money on stars to work off a bonus anyway, so it worked out for me.

ive already processed about 4 buy outs. A couple of them, I've trusted forwarded emails from runhot to confirm the buyout amount (none are significant sums of money regardless, and a small % of the bet at that). I ask that BOTH parties make an effort to contact me when there is talk of a buyout, to confirm details on the amount. I've worked with runhot plenty and he has never screwed me over financially, but I need to make sure both parties are satisfied with where their money is going here.

Seems like he can't play anymore for personal reasons or whatever. I know I can just stick it out and collect the full amount, but I feel somewhat bad and letting him recoup some of the loss. His gf is handling it as he's out of town I believe.

FWIW you are in no way whatsoever expected to let him buy out. That would be out of complete generosity on your part. Clearly its much worse for him when he loses than when you do, but he wouldn't ever let you buy out if he was almost about complete the bet so you shouldn't do it because you feel obligated. Never know what that good karma could do next time you are at the tables though.

sorry , was out of town few days.

dont know what everyone thinks is so shady "towards the end".

i tryed to get more action, negotiated a few buyouts.

and for those who didnt want to let me buyout, the bet is still on and i have until the 24th. so if you didnt let me buyout, thats when the winner will be paid.

nothing shady as far as i'm concerned.

and obviously the escrow is legit.

are you planning to finish it up?

with 13 days left, you need make $8500, assuming 15% ROI, thats
8500/(15%*27) = 2100 sngs, or 161 sng /day.

if you run hot @20%roi,

8500/(20%*27) = 1574 sngs, or 121 sngs/day.

still doable!

its in FAQ:
Quote:
$3.40s - 18%
$6s - 16%
$16s - 14%
$27s - 12%
$60s - 10%
$114s - 8%
$225s - 6%
$335s+ - 4%
I am sure a good/solid player can achieve 15% 12 tabling. (no not me)

I've run at 24.3% ROI over my last 628 22s on Party. So 15% over 2000 is not absurd. I did mine 6-9 tabling though. Anything beyond that and I know I start making mistakes.

I'm not saying it can't be done. But when you're longest heater is 12% over 2000 games, it's absurd to think you can run at 15% over a specific set of 2100 games.

x2 15% 12 tabling the 27s not going to happen over a significant sample and the players that could do it are not playing the 27s.

"shady" to me was the website going down with no notification of anything. Now that you're back, good luck.
