err hem won't let me see stats but iirc villain was fairly tight.

not sure it's that relevant anyway, would rather this was a general discussion about this kind of spot

I would 4bet to ~2350/GII this could be a bare 5/worse FD/PP. When he flips a 3 up we still have decent equity.

is there any real difference between shoving and making it 2350/call ? what's the extra merit in inducing here ?

think with these stacks he's either getting it in or he isn't I don't think his range changes much based on your bet sizing

Yea it doesnt really make that big of a difference but most of the time I prefer to make a small 3b which sometimes gets flatted and on certain turns we get him to fold pairs which would have called a jam otf. On the other hand you could make an argument against it that he might fold when we hit ott and leave him with very little equity. Having that said, just get it in.
