Villain is a tightish super straightforward ABC reg. He knows I'm a good aggro reg. My opening range is perceived as ridiculously wide, like 30% of hands = I can have a 7. I know it's a narrow range I'm repping, but since his whole range should be AJ-AQ is it ok to try to blow him off his hand? Is shoving better than this?

IMO a shove here would seal the deal. At least he'd have a much harder time calling.

i think it's a bad spot to make this play because as you said in the OP, you're not really repping anything. why would you c/r strong hands on the river rather than bet them yourself, when by all indications he's going to be checking back river the majority of the time and you'll lose value when he has an ace? i think it's pretty optimistic to expect him to fold an ace, given your line, unless you have some previous metagame stuff going on.
