This was just a few hands into the FT of the $5 6-max tourney on stars. I put him on 2 overs just bc he was big stack and raised 4x, i dunno if this is reasonable or not. Is my play good here or do i have too much to shove, and should just call and see the flop. This seems to be one of the iffy spots in my game and i never know if to shove or just call and see the flop, whether i put him on 2 overs or not.

You need a read that he normally raises less than 4x for this to be of note, did you have one? If so, I'd consider folding cause his range is like 99-KK and AJ+ pretty frequently. If he mixes up his raise sizes and is pretty aggro I think a shove is ok.

only 5th hand at FT so no reads, first time he had opened, so is this a shove then? or just a call and see flop?

I think you played it alright, but calling isn't a bad option...
Now, if you flat PF, and the flop is as so, are you leading here or c/r or c/c?

If you flatcall, every board that doesn't contains an ace or is scary for you in another sense you really have to call a C-bet (I wouldn't lead out, but check/call). And then you are also facing a difficult decision on the turn or river. Personally I think the range of the guy is a little broader then Brandifan specified, I would add 77-88's and AT,KQ to it. Against that range you are a slight favorite + you have decent FE against AJ, KQ and maybe AQo, but he will also lay down hands you crush so the math goes a little deeper. If he calls you are a dog IMHO. This is a really difficult spot. Without having done the math I think calling and shoving are both viable options, which aren't very different in terms of EV.

6 handed FT, with no reads, being a short stack, im looking to double up and TT is surely a good enough hand to do so. pushing is fine. if you flat call here you put yourself in a very diff position being OOP against a bigger stack. if your plan is to C-F any flop containing A,K,Q, or J and C-RAI a flop that doesnt....then thats fine. but you need to have a plan.
