registeration still open..currently 18 k players..lol..

omg, just had a look as it has come up, and it's really ridiculous how big stars has let this get, now at ~35k and counting. Can't believe they've screwed this up, they usually are quite sensible. Last night when I regged it was capped at 15k max iirc, but today they have just upped it and upped it. Strange, usually Stars don't do dumb stuff, but at this rate it's gonna end up with like 3% of the field getting paid.

why did they do this without updating the payout structure too? and if they decided to make it 50k max, why is the reg closed 35 minutes in, at "only" 35k entrants?

I was pretty life-tilted, forgot to reg when the cap was at 15k, so I spent an hour just waiting for someone to unreg to snake their seat, since the freeroll was such hot value (IMO).

... and then I come back a few hours later and see Stars raised to cap. FUUUUUUUUUU.

But around 1500th now, not that that means anything.

I know this is played out, but for an American playing by the rules on Merge 20k is the biggest possible score all week..If 15k for a freeroll win isn't enough, don't play and whine about it!
