The site I play on has a super turbo 6 player STT mode where all players start with 25bbs and blinds go up fast. But I'm always a little confused how to play at this 10-25bb range. Anyone know of any good guides? Or tips?
So far I am playing very tight, and playing agressively high cards (10J~). Players are usually very loose so am not able to steal many blinds most of the time otherwise I might try to steal with lower cards in some cases.
I would watch Tonkaa's Videos on Youtube about Hyper Sit and Gos. He plays much higher stakes but lets you know his thoughy processes. he also streams on Twitch.
I play alot of hyper turbos (5 dollar micros for fun). I rarely bluff in early stages and i find alot of my edge comes from good bubble play (when there are 3 left) instead of early play.
I don't know how many cashes i have made with only 3 or 4 BB stack and for some unknown reason the two chip leaders go all in preflop with kj and A9 for no reason. Micro Hyper players don't respect the bubble or ICM nearly enough.
Thanks, I'll take a look now. I'm still playing at super micros so a lot of stuff changes but I would assume the general strategy stays the same.
At this level (against very loose players), with this number of blinds, how would you play? Betting 2bbs or more seems just too committing, same as cbetting. I'm almost starting to think maybe limping and only playing when I hit something. Hard to decide.
It's tough to play tight in these. Have to be uber aggressive. Middle pair is gold
The thing is if I start betting agressively in this the stacks are so shallow I can't back out, and then get beat by top pair, or 3 bet bluffed... they are honestly just so unpredictable I dont know what to do most of the time...
