BTN: 650
SB: 2220
Hero (BB): 1320

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is BB with K 8
6 folds, SB calls t50 (pot was t150), Hero raises to t400, SB calls t300 (pot was t500).

Flop: 4 9 T (t800, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t400, SB raises all-in t1820, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: t1420 returned to SB.

Results:
Final pot: t1400

I haven't reads on villain. But I think if raise p/f was wrong? And flop is a tough decision. I think I can fold a raise so I Cbet flop.

Since you don't have a read on this player, isn't it better to just see the free flop and then decide what to do?

I thought raising is "standard".

This is not standard, don't just raise to raise..

You have to take into account how SB has played.

(a) have they given resistance to pfr before?
(b) has he c/r a pfr in the blinds after calling flop?
(c) how active is he pf?
(d) how active is he in the blinds?

raising as BB here with K8s is hardly "standard."

It is still very read dependent.

That said, with 1320chips and 50/100 blinds, I would either push or check/f

If you're trying to steal, obv shoving>>>raising

Say if I have A8s in the BB and SB is Loose-passive, then shoving or raising?
