This is the second hand after the bubble broke. Button's stats are 34/23 with a 60% steal total from the button over 57 hands. Should I call his raise with my small pair considering that he is pushing into another large stack? Do people think that this will affect his pushing range?

Note: I assume this is a thinly veiled push, since I can't see him folding if the BB goes all in.

CO folds, BTN raises to 6,000, Hero ???

Hmmm, that's a good point, but I thought that I should tighten up a little since the CO would be facing the blinds the next two hands.

Wiz is giving me 44+, A3o+, A2s+, K9o+, K7s+, QJo, QTs+. This seems pretty reasonable, and I'd be hesitant to deviate from this too much because if the CO goes into fold war with us, we will technically blind out first. Also, if we do this, if we do in a fold war, we have very very little chance of placing better than 3rd if we do win. If we think that CO will call very wide vs the other stacks, or also fold very tightly vs us and we are likely to get a shove next hand, then I am more likely to not flip here and shove on him next hand (if he is tight) or let him make a light call (if he is calling light). But from the sound of things, it looks like the BTN is pwning it up (intentionally or not), so I think we should likely just take our flip while we have a decent hand.

I'd rather have a chance at 1st than get lucky with 3rd.

Thank y'all. I think in the future I'll try to avoid getting down to 3 BB... that'll save a lot of headaches.

These spots come up a lot don't worry about going down to 3bb if it is the correct thing to do.

I would call with any PP, any ace and a lot of bigger kings with your stack.

It should also be noted that when a player pushes 70% on the bubble, it doesn't mean that they are on ATC once ITM. I know I generally shift to a much tighter range ITM even with a 15k stack if there isn't an extreme shorty in still.
